Marian Stasiuk, age 80, of Alliance, formerly of Vineland, New Jersey, died at 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2012, at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born May 15, 1932 in Poland and he came to the United States in 1962 and settled in New York City, NY. He moved to Vineland, New Jersey, in 1968, where he lived for forty years, until moving to Alliance in 2009.
Marian was a dedicated worker who spent the majority of his career as a master machinist for Wheaton Industries of Millville, NJ.
One of his favorite sports was swimming at which he excelled. He also enjoyed gardening and fishing in his spare time.
Survivors include his daughter, Anna (George) Mielniczek and their sons, Matthew and Andrew, all of Toronto, Canada; sons, Mark Stasiuk and Stephen Stasiuk, both of Vineland, New Jersey; daughter, Lidia (Robert) DeGrange of Alliance; sisters, Antonina Jachymek of New York and Janina Szuwala of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Franciszek and Maria (Taryma) Stasiuk; son, Bugoslaw; and brother, Zenon Stasiuk.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
