Marie (Sweat) Davis, age 61, of Alliance, passed away at 4:22 p.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born December 26, 1951, in Lumberton, NC, to James and Beulah (Hunt) Sweat.
Marie was employed at the former Genie Manufacturing in the plastics department.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sons, Thom Davis and Chris Davis (Jenn Heller), both of Alliance; daughter, Carol Davis (Dave Prince) of California; grandchildren, Kortnie, Celeste, Cheyenne, Kiona, Madalyn and Gavin; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Buddy (Alice) and Russell; sisters, Abby (Lewis), Minnie, Rosie and Lane; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Robert Thomas Davis who died in 2004; and seven brothers and sisters.
A private memorial service will be held.
