Marie Pederzol

Marie Ann Pederzol, age 88, of Alliance, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010 at her daughter's home in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She was born April 30, 1922, in Alliance, Ohio, to Eugene and Antoinette (Donatelli) Iacavone. Marie graduated in 1940 from Alliance High School and worked as a Secretary/Bookkeeper for the former Taylor Corp. She later retired from the former Press Weld Inc. in Sebring after 35 years of service. A member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church, Mrs. Pederzol was Past-President of the Altar and Rosary Society and Past-President of Catholic Women's Club. She was a member of the Ladies of Christopher Columbus Club and the Ladies of the Dante. Survivors include her husband, Bert J. Pederzol, whom she married Sept. 28, 1940; three daughters, Jacqueline L. Pratt of West Chester, Pennsylvania, Antoinette M. Seifert of Conway, Arkansas, and Joyce L. McClain of Denver, Colorado; one son, Dr. Bert J. Pederzol of Alliance, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Irene Williams of Westerville, Ohio. Marie was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandson, Joseph Pederzol. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2010 at Regina Coeli Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Seifert officiating. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to Regina Coeli Catholic Church.
