Marie W. Wingert age 93 of Sebring, went home to be with the Lord on Friday October 8, 2004 at Crandall Medical Center.
She was born January 5, 1911 in Canton, Ohio to Harvey and Bessie (Hershberger) Schmucker and was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Wingert attended the former Harrisburg School, and was a member of First Immanuel United Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son, Elmer R. Wingert of Canton, one sister Dorothy Blythe of Louisville, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy L. Wingert, whom she married Sept. 1, 1931, and who died June 3, 1986, and three brothers, Cloyd, Harry and Russell Schmucker.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Neal Mann officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
