Marie Clark went home to be with her Heavenly Father, the evening of Friday December 6th, 2019. She was born December 13, 1942 in Alliance, Ohio to Ralph Haidet and Eva Mae (Ritter) Haidet.
She was a graduate of Alliance St. Joseph and Canton Central Catholic. She worked for the U.S. Navy in Washington, DC, GC Murphy’s, B&W Tubular, The Genie Company, and The Singletree.
Marie was a member of The Alliance Christian Center, Town & Country Garden Club, Genie and B&W Retirees.
Marie enjoyed gardening, cross-stitch, knitting and crocheting, producing some of the most beautiful scarves for friends and relatives. She was active in her area with issues pertaining to her neighborhood. She was a devout Christian, supporter of animal rights, and many charitable organizations. She especially enjoyed listening to music and attending concerts with friends at the Caboose in downtown Alliance. She was a fan of the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers, as well as Ohio State and Notre Dame. Listening to many different religious speakers, both on TV and in person was inspirational to Marie. Marie enjoyed visiting her favorite places such as Put-In-Bay as a child, and later at Siesta Key, Fl., Mackinac Island, Frankenmuth, MI and all the Christmas boutiques and garden shows.
Survived by her daughter, Christine Clark (husband, Eric Nowaczynski) of San Diego, CA.; son, Brian (Amy) Clark of Wadsworth, OH.; sister, JoAnn Kelleher of Roanoke, VA; brother, Norm (Ann) Haidet of Louisville, OH; grandchildren, Samantha Main, Darien Clark, Sofia Clark, and Savanna Clark; many nieces, nephews, cousins and her pride and joy, cats, Toby, Lucy and Opie.
Preceded in death by father, Ralph Haidet on June 15, 1978; mother, Eva Mae Haidet on July 15, 1990; brothers, Douglas Haidet and Howard Haidet; and sister, Dorothy Limbach.
The family wishes to extend our deepest thanks to all the friends, family and the wonderful Hospice team who offered their time, prayers, cards, flowers, visits, spiritual guidance and outpouring support in Marie’s final journey. Your presence at this time will always be remembered and appreciated.
In honor of Marie’s wishes there will be a private memorial service.
