Marilyn Gillman, age 60, of Alliance, Ohio, took her journey into the Heavens from her home surrounded by her loving family Tuesday evening July 15, 2008.
She was born May 22, 1948 in Youngstown, Ohio to Iverne (Veon) Crubaugh.
She was a member of the Louisville Eagles Club Aerie # 2374 and formerly a member of the Alliance Eagles Club Aerie # 2174. Marilyn was also past Madam President of the Ladies Auxiliary.
She leaves behind the love of her life, Dale Clark, of Alliance; her loving daughters, Kimberly Gillman of Alliance, Kristine (Earl) Harden of Alliance, Christine Clark of San Diego, CA; and her son Brian (Amy) Clark of Clinton, OH. Her grandchildren include, Jamie (Slip) Chin, Jillian (Duane) Bartoe, Dale Harden, Samantha Main, Travis Sheese, Darien and Sofia Clark; great-grandchildren, Kilsonn, Nathaniel, and Trinity Chin; siblings, Bill (Linda) Crubaugh of Woodstock, GA, Bonnie (Richard) Miller of Sebring, OH, Beverly (Marvin) Carpenter of Alliance, OH, Helen (Willie) Diehl of Alliance, OH, Sherry Bostwick of Maplewood, MO, Gary (Margaret) Crubaugh of Scotland and Kathy Crowe of Salem, OH; including many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Iverne Crubaugh; brothers, Bob and Paul Crubaugh; and sister, Betty Crubaugh Nelson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2008 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Sams of The Alliance First Friends Church officiating. Friends may call Thursday July 17 from 6-9 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alliance Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, 885 S. Sawburg Rd. Suite 106 Alliance, Ohio 44601.
