Marilyn Kay Williamson, age 79, passed away on December 10, 2024 after a five and a half year illness at Canterbury Villa.
She was born on April 14, 1945, in to Mervin and Thelma (Kail) Booth.
Marilyn worked for the Alliance City Schools as a cook for over 40 years.
She enjoyed crafting and crocheting. Marilyn loved to travel; including trips to Hawaii, Florida and her yearly trips to Tennessee. Marilyn also liked participating in missions and activities at her church. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she loved very much.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Lesa (Bill) Tucker, Dan (Tammy) Dicko, Brian (Tracy) Dicko; step-children, Mickey, Marc, and Willy Williamson and Michelle Jenkins; grandchildren, Mandy, Kristen, Krystal, Danielle, Allison, Brittany, Samantha, Alec, Gwen, Glen, Jennifer, and Donnie; numerus great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Jean Sullivan, Jim (Jody) Booth, and Sandy (Chet) Mason.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Williamson; and granddaughter, Megan Dicko.
A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Thursday, December 12th at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior.
Her family wishes to thank the staff at Canterbury Villa for their kind care for Marilyn as well as Mercy and Aultman Hospice.
