Marita E. (Baum) Houtz, age 95 of Alliance, died at 11:15 a.m. Dec. 24, 2005 at Altercare of Hartville.
She was born August 4, 1910 in New Baltimore, Ohio to Herbert and Effie (Knisely) Baum.
Mrs. Houtz graduated from Marlboro High School and retired from the Hoover Company after twenty years of service.
Survivors include half sister, sister-in-laws, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Lester E. Houtz, whom she married in 1936, and who died July 3, 2001, brothers, Donald, Kenneth and Robert Baum, half-brother, Wayne Snyder, and half-sister, Marilyn Snyder.
No Services will be held. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery on Thursday.
