Marjorie N. Johnson age 74 of Alliance, died at 1:20 a.m. April 3, 2004 at Alliance Community Hospital.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Louden, Kentucky on July 10, 1929 to Ken C. and Pearl (Partin) Teague and lived in Alliance since 1952.
She was previously employed at Kay's Corner, Super Center and Manners in Canton.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Alliance Baptist Temple for 48 years, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by one daughter, Rhonda (Greg) Shaffer of Alliance, one son, Ronald (Cathy) Johnson, of Alliance, five grandchildren; Dawn (Curt) VanEperen, Deborah (Jim) Thompson, Dale (Brenda) Johnson, Jaimie Shaffer and Jonathan Shaffer, four great-grandchildren; Daegan VanEperen, Taryn VanEperen, Cameryn Thompson and Cole Thompson, three sisters; Geraldine Lawson of Tennessee, Mary Lee Smith and Martha Powers, both of Kentucky, three brothers; Don Teague of Kentucky, Bill Teague and Jack Teague, both of Alliance, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth D. Johnson, whom she married December 22, 1947 and who died July 27, 2003, three brothers, Carl, Stanley and James, and one sister Mary.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Lewis officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Domestic Violence Shelter.
