Marjorie L. Fetters

September 25, 1929 — January 21, 2006

Marjorie L. Fetters, age 76 of Alliance died at 10:50 p.m. Saturday Jan. 21, 2006 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born September 25, 1929 in North Georgetown, Ohio to Paul and Lela (Greenisen) Wang and was a lifelong resident of Alliance.
Mrs. Fetters graduated from Goshen High School and was last employed as a lecturer for Conway Diet Inc. in Canal Fulton. She was also formerly employed at Kings, A & P of Salem and Alliance and Hillcrest Market as a retail clerk.
She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was a member and past president of The Deborah's Class. She was also a charter member of the former Homeworth Eastern Star. Mrs. Fetters enjoyed auctions, antiques and collectibles and was an avid couponer and refunder.
Survivors include her husband, Richard L. Fetters, whom she married June 27, 1954; two daughters, Jill (Ron) Castina of Alliance and Jody (Jerry) Saunier of Alliance; four grandchildren, Tony (Chrissy), Angie, and Andy Castina and Danielle Saunier; two sisters, Beverly Frank Monter of Alliance and Shirley Sullivan of Florida
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother John Wang who passed away in 1997.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2005 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Frank Gross Jr. officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
