Marjorie R. Priest

Marjorie R. Priest, age 69, of Limaville, died at 4:20 a.m., Monday, August 20, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center.
She was born April 21, 1943, in Lumberton, North Carolina, to Frank and Nancy (Strahmeyer) Scott.
Marjie liked quilting, fishing, gardening, embroidery and loved her flowers.
Survivors include her two sons, Daniel (Meredith) Priest and John (Robin) Priest, both of Alliance; daughter, Linda (Rick) Reynolds of Minerva; three grandchildren, Miranda, Julianna and Daniel Jr.; step-grandson, Brandon Kurple; foster-grandson, Gary (Tishia) Prince; two sisters, Annie Jewel Williams and Susan Scott, both of North Carolina; brother, Frank Scott Jr. of North Carolina, half-brother, Carl Strahmeyer; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert J. Priest, whom she married February 8, 1959 and who died March 10, 2000; son, Norman; and two brothers, Michael Scott and George Scott
Services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Jay Hill and Pastor Charlie Sammons co-officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
Visitation will also be held from 11 a.m. until Noon on Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in West Virginia, followed by an interment service at Red Sulfur Springs Cemetery in Red Sulfur Springs, West Virginia.
