Marjorie Rinehart

Marjorie M. Rinehart, age 81, of Alliance, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2008 at her home.
She was born August 8, 1926, in Mineral City, Ohio to James and Hazel (Frye) McCreery.
Marjorie was a 1944 graduate of Magnolia High School and was employed by U. S. Quarry Tile Co. in East Sparta, Ohio.
She was a member of Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Berlin Center, Ohio and was a member of the VFW Chapter 1036 Ladies Auxiliary and AARP. She loved gardening and was very meticulous with the flowers care and enjoyed antiques and going to garage sales.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Rinehart of Alliance, whom she married July 4, 1959; one daughter, Sherri (Jim) Pinkerton; one granddaughter, Ashlyn Taylor Pinkerton; one nephew; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James McCreery; two sisters, Mary Waid and Betty Grove; one granddaughter, Caitlin Alexa Pinkerton; and stepmother, Eleanor "Diddie" McCreery.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alliance Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, 885 S. Sawburg Road, Suite 100, Alliance, Ohio, 44601 or to the Alliance VFW Ladies Auxiliary, 1036 E. State St., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
