Marjorie Wyand age 79 of Alliance, died at her home at 10:42 a.m. February 28, 2004.
She was born December 30, 1924 in Chester Township, Wayne County Ohio to Ralph and Maude (Sheppard) Steltzer.
Mrs. Wyand graduated from the College of Wooster, and retired from Canton City School system after 32 years of teaching.
She was a member of First Christian Church and the Alliance Woman's Club.
Mrs. Wyand is survived by her husband, Gene A. (Bucky) Wyand, whom she married October 21, 1951, two daughters, Amy (Mike) Couch of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Lori Wyand and Wayne Baer of Lebanon, Pa., and one granddaughter Taylor Couch of Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Sue DeHoff officiating. Friends may call from 12-2 p.m. Tuesday.
