Marjory E. Cassidy

Marjory Ellen Cassidy, age 86, of Alliance, passed away at 10 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2016, at McCrea Manor.
She was born April 25, 1929, in Alliance, Ohio, to Burt and Mary (Boyd) Moulin.
Marjory was a 1947 graduate of Alliance High School and was employed as a sales clerk and bookkeeper with the former Woolworths for more than 29 years retiring in 1991.
She was a member of the Vine Street United Methodist Church where she taught the Crusaders Sunday school class. She was a member of the Ray-Ann Circle at the church and also Woolworths Retirees.
Survivors include her daughter, Treva Curtis of Alliance; son, Thomas (Linda) Cassidy of Beloit; grandchildren, Thom Curtis of Denver, Colorado, Tracy Curtis of Charlotte, North Carolina, Lee Cassidy of Hilliard, Ohio and David Cassidy of Medina, Ohio; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee Cassidy, whom she married July 27, 1946 and who died December 6, 2007; son, Tod Cassidy who died, September 12, 2015; and siblings, Frances Sheen, Betty Pratt and Melvin Moulin.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 15, 2016, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Dr. David W. Bloor officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
