Marjory E. Kuklo Wilcox, age 72 of Alliance, died at 11:25 p.m. Saturday May 21, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center.
She was born July 15, 1932 in Alliance, Ohio to Francis and Frances (Shultz) Kuklo.
Mrs. Wilcox graduated in 1950 from Alliance High School, and received her B.A. in Elementary Education from Mount Union College in 1954.
She was employed as an Elementary School Teacher for 30 years with Alliance Public Schools, retiring in 1986. She also was a substitute teacher for Marlington School District for 8 years.
She was a member of Union Avenue United Methodist Church for 58 years, and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, William E. Wilcox, whom she married June 25, 1966, children, Sheryl M. Cioci (Chris Erchick) of Alliance, Sandra M. (Keith) Custer of Perrysburg, Ohio, William Edward (Rose) Wilcox Jr., of Alliance, Sandy (Robert) Snyder of North Canton, and James Wilcox of Alliance, grandchildren; Joel B. Custer, WO2 Joshua Cioci, Christina (Cioci) Yother, Matthew Ungashick, Lydia Whitacre, Ian Wilcox, Sarah Snyder, Amy Snyder, William J. Wilcox, and James and Chuck Erchick; great-grandchildren, Amelia Yother, Trent Ungashick, and Eric Whitacre; and one sister, Anna Mae Adams of Alliance.
Mrs. Wilcox was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Susan (Wilcox) Stanley, grandson Tyler B. Custer, and daughter-in-law, Catherine Wilcox.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Union Avenue United Methodist Church with Rev. Gordon Ruggles officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
