Mark Alan Wiley Lare, age 36, of Alliance, passed away at 12:07 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born March 8, 1975, in Alliance, Ohio, to Mark Alan and Brenda (Wiley) Lare.
A graduate of Marlington High School, Mark received his Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Kent State University.
He was employed as Business Manager by L.P.H. Mechanical Inc. in Alliance.
Mark was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church. He was a licensed pilot since the age of 16, and certified flight instructor. He was an avid reader, particularly of business books, and also enjoyed playing hockey.
Mark was a veteran of the U. S. Airforce, having served as a Captain.
He is deeply loved and will be missed by his family, including his wife, Jennifer L. (Jones) Lare, whom he married April 29, 2007; son, Garrett, age 9; daughter Katelynn, age 4; son, Brady, age 1, all of the home; his parents, Mark and Brenda Lare, of Alliance; brothers, Chad (Rachel) Lare, of Zephyrhills, Florida; Brent (Tabitha) Lare, of Lorain, Ohio; and Trevor Lare, of Ojai, California; paternal grandmother, Loretta Lare of Alliance; maternal grandfather, Paul Wiley, of Alliance; and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wayne Lare; and maternal grandmother, Dorothy Wiley.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Mr. Craig Boyce officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the children's college funds.
