Martha Evelyn McLaughlin, age 85, of Alliance, passed away at her home Tuesday morning, March 22, 2011.
She was born in Senecaville, Ohio to Hal Morgan Wallace Sr. and Hattie (Williams) Wallace on June 15, 1925.
Martha was a graduate of Senecaville High School. She enjoyed reading, traveling and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include husband, Riley McLaughlin, whom she married August 1, 1948; two sons, James R. (Rosemary) McLaughlin Jr. of East Rochester, Ohio; Thomas (Rebecca) McLaughlin of North Canton, Ohio; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren; one sister, Doris (Norman) Kennedy of San Diego, California; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Bryan David McLaughlin, and one brother, Hal M. Wallace Jr.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 with Pastor Steven Woyen of the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Minerva officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery
