Marvel Tripp

Marvel O. Tripp, age 79, of Alliance, died at 1:45 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2008 at Aultman Hospital. She was born March 6, 1929 in Alliance to Roy E. and Orlou Wilson Beck and was a lifelong resident. Marvel was a graduate of Alliance High School and retired from Ohio Bell after working as a telephone operator. She loved painting and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Marvel is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, James Tripp of Alliance; two daughters, Jan Bugara of Alliance and Susan (Robert) Mackin of Amherst; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Roy E. Beck of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Agnes Marie Beck and Nancy Neafie. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2008 at the Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park. The Family would like to extend their gratitude for the special care by the Doctor, Nurses and staff at the ICU unit at Aultman Hospital. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
