Marvin Breit

Marvin W. Breit, age 86, of Alliance, died at 4:57 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2010 at his home.
He was born April 24, 1923 in Alliance, Ohio to John and Estell (Kimble) Breit.
A 1942 graduate of the former Marlboro High School, Mr. Breit was employed at Morgan Engineering for 32 years, retiring as a Foreman.
He was a member of the Alliance Evangelical Friends Church.
Survivors include his children, Robyn Renee (Fredd) Graves of Alliance and Terry Allen Breit of St. Petersburg, Florida; granddaughter, Ashley Nicole (Ozzy) Chaney of Alliance; good friend, Stephen Rivers of St. Petersburg, Fl; great-grandchildren, Kain Russell Chaney and Sydney Renee Chaney; siblings, Aileen Schweizer of Alliance, Lawrence (Naomi) Breit of Minerva, William (Shirley) Breit of Alliance, and Lee (Nancy) Breit of Minerva; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Elva Mary (Hamlin) Breit, whom he married July 17, 1947 and who died June 20, 1992.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Marlboro Cemetery with Pastor Rick Sams officiating. Interment will follow at Marlboro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alliance Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice 885 S. Sawburg Rd. Suite 106 Alliance, Ohio 44601.
