Marvin J. Hiltabidle

Marvin Hiltabidle, age 90, of Alliance, passed away at 4:38 p.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at University Hospitals Portage Medical Center.
He was born May 31, 1926 in Alliance, Ohio, to James and Catherine (Snyder) Hiltabidle.
Marvin was a wonderful father and role model. He enjoyed spending long vacations in Maine and Vermont and loved the outdoors. He was a very kind man, and will be dearly missed.
He often said, "I am the luckiest Daddy in the whole wide world!" It was the other way around, Susan said, "I was the lucky one!"
Mr. Hiltabidle is survived by his daughter, Susan (Richard) White of Randolph; grandson, Michael White and his wife, Becky; great-grandson, Ethan; and a foster daughter, Jeannie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Juanita I. (Pauley) Hiltabidle, whom he married July 16, 1945 and who died December 13, 2004; daughter, Marcella; and his sister, Delma Sabo.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2017, at Friendship Bible Church 1703 St. Rt. 44 in Randolph across from Sarchione Ford. Interment will be at Atwater Cemetery.
