Mary O. (Crabtree) Burrier, age 84 of Alliance, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 8:34 p.m. at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born June 11, 1926 in Harrison County, Ohio to Joseph and Gertrude (Cecil) Crabtree.
Mary retired from Bel-Air Care Center after more than twenty years of service.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Lou (Thomas) Nieman of Sebring, Patricia (Davy) Collins of Alliance, Sandra Braden Burrier of Alliance, and Edna (Edward) Peteya of Lakemore, Ohio; brothers, Glen (Wanda) Crabtree of Salem, Ohio, Eugene (Deborah) Crabtree of Uhrichsville, Ohio and Joseph (Thelma) Crabtree of Colorado; sister, Mildred (Thomas) Thompson of Mineral City, Ohio; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Burrier, whom she married Dec. 26, 1947 and who died in 1980; her brother, Clarence; her sister, Sarah Elizabeth, and her sons, Clarence and Gary.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
