Mary "Evelyn" Studt Clemente, age 83 of Canton and formerly of Sebring, passed away at 9:12 a.m. Friday March 25, 2005 at Canton Christian Home.
Mrs. Clemente was born May 1, 1921 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Samuel Robertson and Margaret Lois (Miller) Harper, and lived in the Alliance area since 1956.
She was a graduate of Peabody High School and Grace Martins School. Mrs. Clemente retired from Circle Machine Rolls of Sebring after working as a bookkeeper.
She was a member and served as treasurer of Deerfield Lads and Lassies. She was a member of V.F.W. Post 6730 Auxiliary in Sebring and member of the Sebring Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by four children; Lois Studt (James) Miller of Bailey, Colorado, William George Studt of Canton, Susan Studt (Terry) Bellinger of Greenville, Michigan and Alan Edward (Cindy) Studt of Broadview Heights, Ohio, twelve grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren, one brother, Samuel Robertson Harper Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and one sister, Florence Fay Carter of Lubbock, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Raymond Alan Studt on April 9, 1971, and her second husband, James V. Clemente, on May 23, 2003.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Christine Ziem officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday. Private burial will be at Highland Memorial Park.
