Mary E. Cottrill, age 49, of Alliance, died at 3:21 a.m. January 16, 2007 at Alliance Community Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born Jan. 3, 1958 in Alliance to Ralph J. and Haley Marie (Watson) Harris and was a lifelong resident.
A graduate of Alliance High School, she worked at Canterbury Villa in various capacities until she retired.
She loved using her computer and clip art for crafting.
Survivors include her husband James E. Cottrill whom she married December 2, 1977; son Thomas P. (Myra) Cottrill of Alliance; brothers William J. (Peg) Delawder of Minerva, Robert L. Harris of Arkansas, Gary J. (Debbie) Harris of Georgia, and Lawrence R. (Diana) Harris of Alliance and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Rose M. Harris and brother Kenneth R. Harris
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Robert McNutt officiating. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
