Mary Crum

Mary Crum, age 85, passed away peacefully at home on December 19th, 2020 surrounded by her family.

She was born March 2, 1935, in Maximo, Ohio to Walter and Adeline (Moushey) Ruffier.

A graduate of Louisville High School, Mary formerly served as organist for 53 years at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo, in addition to being a piano and organ teacher.

She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo.

She is survived by her husband, Edward R. Crum, whom she married October 12, 1963; children, Paul J. Crum and wife Tonia of Massillon, Erika F. McIlvain of Canton, and  Robert J. Crum of Marengo; grandchildren, Chelsea LaPrell and husband Shane, Alexandria Crum, Morgan Crum, Jarrett  Crum and Braummen Crum.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Robert, Arthur, Paul and Kieren Ruffier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 28th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo with Fr. Joseph Ruggieri as celebrant.  Visitation will be held one hour prior at the church.

Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
