Mary E. Myers

Mary E. Myers, age 80, of Alliance, died at 5:55 a.m. Sunday, April 29, 2007 at McCrea Manor.
She was born October 4, 1926 to Robert Edwin and Flossie
(Evans) Allen and was a lifelong resident of Alliance.
Mary graduated from Alliance High School and worked at S.S. Kresgy and McCaskey Register. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and sewing, and liked to make Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.
She was a member of the Hartville Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by her husband Donald E. Myers whom she married October 26, 1950; children, Patricia Lynn (Bruce) Helsel of Alliance, Michael Lee (Darlene) Myers of Colorado Springs, CO, Sandra Sue Blair of Alliance and John Eric (Lyn) Myers of Alliance; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and sister Betty Allen of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Dorothy Werbung.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am Thursday at the Hartville Church of the Brethren with Tobin Crenshaw and Larry Black officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
