Mary Andrick Emery

Mary Andrick Emery, age 80, of Alliance, passed away peacefully at 1:40 p.m. Friday March 31, 2017 at Canterbury Villa surrounded by family and friends.
She was born October 31, 1936, in Buckhannon WV, to Corbin and Brenice (Bennett) Andrick.
Mary was a graduate of Buckhannon Upshur High School, and while in Buckhannon worked as a clerk at GC Murphy's and later as a telephone operator.
She was a member of First Baptist Church where she served on the caring committee and was just recently awarded emeritus membership status. Everyone that met her loved her.
Survivors include children, Mary Elizabeth Emery of Powell, OH, Lewis C. (Kimberly) Emery III of Alliance, and William Andrick Emery of Bath, OH; grandchildren, Alexander C. Emery and Dylan C. Emery; great grandson, Carter C. Emery; brother, John Andrick of Hyattsville, MD; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: husband, Lewis C. Emery, Jr., whom she married on December 21, 1959 and who passed away February 22, 2016; and brothers, Corbin, James, Paul and her twin, Joseph Andrick.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday April 4, 2017 at First Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Rhodes officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Burial will take place at a later date at Heavener Cemetery in Buckhannon, WV.
Her family wishes to extend a special thank you to Canterbury Villa and Bella Care Hospice for their special care of Mary.
