Mary Lou (Glass) Gibson

Mary Lou Gibson, age 64, of Alliance, went to be with the Lord, peacefully at 2:35 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of Evert Gibson. They shared 45 years of marriage together.
Born July 31, 1951 in Alliance, Ohio she was the daughter of Hazel (Baxter) and Paul Glass.
Mary attended Southside Church of God, and was employed as Secretary there for 20 years.
Mary enjoyed caring, playing and teaching her grandchildren, vacationing with friends and her morning cup of tea. She would always go out of her way to help others anyway she could.
Survivors include her husband, Evert I. Gibson; daughters, Amy G. Gibson of Columbus; Julie A. (Justin) Dobay; granddaughters, Annaliese M. and Addison N., all of Burton, Ohio; brother, Richard (Marsha) Glass of Louisville; and sister, Nancy (Bill) Floyd of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gail (Glass) Starr.
A memorial service will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2016 at Southside Church of God with Pastor Dave Storlie officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Southside Church of God, 1520 Sawburg Ave., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
