Mary Catherine Grimes

Mary Catherine (Quick) Grimes, age 55, of Alliance passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2022.  She was born August 6, 1966, to Karen (Lampe) Quick and the late Gerald (Jerry) Quick.

Mary was an ’84 graduate of Alliance High School.  She attended Stark Technical College and remained a lifelong Alliance resident.  She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, fiancé, mother, sister, aunt, niece, and friend.

She always thought of others and genuinely loved all she knew and the feeling from others was mutual.  She loved every experience that she had whether it was going to casinos, watching shows in Vegas, or traveling to her favorite spots in Florida.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Karen Quick; her four children, Brittney (Michael) McDougal of Tennessee, Jared (Tiffany Nagle) Grimes, Haylee (Aries Palmer) Grimes and Kaleb Kazleman all of Alliance; her fiancé William Kazleman; her sisters Christina (Bill) Hahn of Virginia, Jerilyn (Zach) Pemberton and Suzanne Quick of Alliance; her beloved nephew and nieces, Brayden Quick of Tennessee, Falynn Quick of Alliance, Courtney and Lauren Hahn of Virginia, Carol Kazleman; and her many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Quick and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Abiding Savior (Fellowship Hall) from 1 pm - 5 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to a GoFundMe page https://gofund.me/7adb34bf that has been set up by a family friend to assist with medical and burial costs as well as the survivorship of her children.
