Mary Gulling

Mary Gulling, age 88, passed away on June 25, 2024. 

She was born on September 7, 1935, in Alliance, to Clyde and Anne Jones.

Mary worked many jobs as a hair stylist, bartender, business manager, hospital billing clerk, cook and retail sales, but the job she loved the most was being a wife, mom and grandmother. 

Mary was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary, the Elks BPOE #467 Auxiliary, as well as the Roma Society and a founding member of its Women’s Athletic Club. She enjoyed cooking, bowling and playing bocce. Mary also loved playing poker and family game nights. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Guardians. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Lisa (Steve) Baylor and Tom (Becky) Glines; grandchildren, J.D. Baylor, Matthew (Jaclyn) Baylor, Marisa Baylor, Jessica Baylor, Arin (Nicki) Glines, Cory Glines, and Corey Blair; great-grandchildren, Zander Baylor and Carter Glines; siblings, Jimmy (Marcia) Jones; daughter-in-law, Terri Jones; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who all knew her as Aunt Mame.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Gulling; son, Jeff “JJ” Jones; and sister, Judy Hall.

 A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Friday, July 12th from 6:00-8:00.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Regina Coeli Catholic Church on Saturday, July 13th at 10:00 a.m.
