Mary K. Harlan, age 95 of Alliance, died at 5:00 a.m. Sunday February 20, 2005 at Altercare of Louisville.
She was born February 16, 1910 in Hartville, Ohio to William and Elta (Wolf) Schoner and lived in Alliance since 1995, after moving from Marlboro.
Mrs. Harlan attended Wittenberg College in Springfield, Ohio and raised Belgian Horses and Dairy Cows on their Marlboro farm. She was also a seamstress, gardener and devoted homemaker.
She was a member of The Chapel in Marlboro. She was also a member of the Farm Bureau.
Survivors include one brother, Wayne E. (Esther) Schoner of Louisville, Ohio, one sister-in-law Donna Schoner of Akron, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph Harlan, whom she married in 1938, and who died in August, 1995; and one brother, Ellis Schoner.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Cochran officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
