Mary Koleman

Mary Ann Koleman, age 83, of Alliance, Ohio, died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Akron City Hospital.
She was born October 1, 1925 in Alliance to Nick and Domincan (Dunzi) Vizzuso and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
She was employed as a manager of Sugar & Spice Pastry and Catering Service. Mary Ann was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the YWCA, and the Alliance Chamber of Commerce.
She is survived by her sister, Thelma (Joseph) Vadini of Parma, Ohio.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Pompey Koleman, Jr. whom she married May 2, 1948 and who died August 17, 1973; a baby daughter; and seven brothers, Ben, Rocco, Paul, Patsy, Tony, Dan and David.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
