Mary J. Kriner

Mary J. Kriner, age 79, of Alliance passed away at 11:15 a.m., Monday, August 27, 2018, at her home.
She was born October 24, 1938, in Alliance, Ohio, to the late Cecil and Mary (Green) Warner and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
A 1956 graduate of Alliance High School, Mary had retired after 33 years from the former Genie Company.
She was a member of the Local Union No 750 AFL-CIO and member of the Women of the Moose.
Survivors include her children, Debra Charleston and Laura (Shawn) Bodendorfer, James (Brenda) Kriner and Terry (Yvette) Kriner, all of Alliance; six grandchildren, Corrie (Kasie) Bezon, Kara (Darren) Hill, James A. Kriner, and Sara (Robbie) Charleston and Matthew Charleston, Dylan Tanner Kriner; two stepgrandchildren, Chantelle and Joshua Bodendorfer; five great-grandchildren, Carli Rose Kriner, Corrie Ryan Bezon III, Mya Rae Hill, Darren Michael Hill Jr. "DJ" and Gwendolynn Aurora Bezon; six sisters, Beverly Nichols of Alliance, Sue Milburn of Canton, Peggy (William) Delawder of Minerva, Nancy (Paul) Ludwig of Alliance, Shirley (Roy) Underwood of Canton and Carol (Warren) Long of North Carolina; sister-in-law, Beverly Warner of Salem; brothers, Clarence (Charlene) Warner of Atwater, William (Edna) Warner of Alliance and David Warner, of Niles; and a special friend, Bobby Harris.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Kriner, whom she married May 12, 1957 and who died November 20, 2003; brothers, Bruce and Robert Warner; and the family dog, Demon "Demi".
Services will be held at Noon Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 10 a.m.-Noon prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's honor to Alliance Hospice 2461 W. State St. Alliance, Ohio 44601.
