Mary J. Lair passed away early Friday morning, November 9th at Alliance Community Care Center at the age of 100.
A lifelong resident of Alliance, she was the daughter of Achim (James) and Ana (Banea) Maldoven.
Mary was a member of the Romanian Orthodox Church.
She was employed at Bear Furniture, Alliance Manufacturing, Strong Enamel and Christ United Methodist Church Day Care.
Mary is survived by her son, Dean A. Lair and daughter-in-law, Kay L. Lair; four grandchildren, Pamela Lair (Michael) Freeders, Cheryl Lair (Donald) Garretson, Deanna Lair (David) May and Michael (Kristen Ullman) Lair; ten great-grandchildren, Johnathan D. Freeders, Sara K. Burke, Amanda D. May, Kristen M. Kauth, Joshua T. Boyce, Ashley K. Roberts, Amber K, Roberts, Issac M. Keene, Aaron D. Lair, Thomas J. Lair; and one great-great-grandchild, Alexander D. Marinaccio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Helen Maldoven (Homer Craven); and three brothers, James, John and Nick Maldoven.
As per her request, there will be no funeral services. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park in Columbiana County.
