Mary Beth Schopp, age 41, of Alliance, passed away at 9:49 a.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Alliance Community Hospital.
Beth was born Nov. 10, 1966 in Nashville, Tennessee to Don E. and Mary Nelle (Reed) Sharp.
A former resident of Hendersonville, TN, Beth had lived in Alliance since 1992.
A 1985 graduate of Hendersonville High School, she graduated from the University of Tennessee in December, 1989.
A member of First Friends Church, Beth was active at church, and spent a lot of time volunteering at Regina Coeli Catholic School.
Survivors include her parents, Don and Mary Nelle Sharp, of Hendersonville, TN; her husband, David K. Schopp, whom she married Oct. 5, 1991; two children, Hannah E. Schopp, and Jarrod A. Schopp, both of the home; one sister, Donna E. (Bob) Head, of Hendersonville, TN; one niece, and two nephews, Abbye, Parker and Preston Head, all of Hendersonville, TN.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Alliance First Friends Church with Pastor Rick Sams officiating. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Friday at Alliance First Friends Church, 1307 W. State St. Alliance, Ohio. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
