Mary A. Scott, age 84, of Alliance, passed away at 12:45 a.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Bel Air Care Center.
She was born September 14, 1928, in Wellsburg, West Virginia, to Albert and Eva (Hill) Rouse.
Mary attended the Maranatha Church of God. She was an avid bingo player.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary L. Hyronimus of Alliance; Eva Bell Watkins of Alliance; sons, Richard Allen Scott Sr. of Alliance; Lewis Francis Scott Jr. of Orlando, FL; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis Scott Sr. whom she married March 28, 1948 and who died June 5, 2000; and five brothers, Charles, Albert, Joseph, Louis and Thomas Rouse.
Services will be held at Noon Friday, August 2, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Tammy Butcher of Busy Corner Ministries officiating. Friends may call from 10 to noon prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
