Mary Jane Stanley

Mary Jane Stanley, age 103, of Alliance, Ohio passed away on March 3, 2024 at McCrea Manor in Alliance. 

 She was born February 3, 1921 in Iselin, Pennsylvania to John Rogel Sr. and Mary (Sever) Rogel.

Mrs. Stanley graduated from Alliance High School in 1939. She worked at Meadowbrook Dairy in the Arcade Market, then in the Payroll Department at B&W Tube. Mary became a home maker in 1948. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a long-time member of the Slovene National Benefit Society (SNPJ).

Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Lamoine whom she married May 10, 1947 and passed in 1992; daughter, Marsha Jeanette who passed in 1959; granddaughter, Sarah Grace Stanley who passed in 2015; three brothers, and three sisters. 

She is survived by daughters, Janet (Tim) Eberhardt of Massillon, Joyce Gosiewski (Richard Fetters) of Beloit, Carol (Ken) Sponseller of Campbell; sons, Kenneth A (Connie) of Alliance and William Stanley of Minerva; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Albert Rogel of Rancho Cordova, California. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. on Saturday, March 9th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 427 East Broadway Street, Alliance, Ohio 44601. Family and friends are invited for viewing one hour prior to the service at the church.
