Mary Louise Wilhelm, age 85, of Alliance went home to be with the Lord at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born June 4, 1923 in Alliance to Carl and Fanny (Smith) Mueller.
An Alliance High School graduate, Mary was previously employed with the Marlington School system and by Monarch in Hartville.
She was a member of the Abiding Savior Lutheran Church where she was active in the Women's Society and she liked to go camping.
Mary is survived by her husband, Alton T. Wilhelm, whom she married August 17, 1941; her children, two sons, Gary T. (Linda) Wilhelm of Louisville and David C. (Dora) Wilhelm of Alliance; son-in-law Dieter Teutsch of Maximo; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Mueller of Alliance; sisters Lillian Quillman of Alliance and Kathleen Waltz of Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carol Teutsch; and a brother Paul Mueller.
Services will be held at Noon Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Abiding Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor Walt Jordan officiating. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m.-Noon Saturday at the church. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
