Mary Camilla Williams
Mary Camilla Williams, age 89, of Alliance, died at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007 at Roselawn Terrace.
Mrs. Williams was born Jan. 24, 1918 in Baltimore, Maryland to Earl and Kathryn (Arnsbarger) Yingst and moved to Alliance in 1946.
A graduate of Minerva High School, Mrs. Williams attended Kent State University.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and a former member of Searchlight Club, and the Alliance Woman's Club.
Survivors include one son, David (Ruth) Williams of Alliance, one daughter, Stephanie (Doug) Heesten of Cincinnati, four grandchildren; and one sister, Sarah Brainard, of Sun City, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, David Yingst, and her husband, Ernest A. Williams, whom she married June 7, 1941, and who died Aug. 30, 2006.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Hookway officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
