Matthew P. Crowe

Matthew P. Crowe, age 46, of Minerva, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014, at his home.
He was born March 5, 1968 to Michael Crowe and Loretta Kay (Bissett) Crowe.
A graduate of Minerva High School, Matt did his post-grad studies at Drage to become a Metal Lathe Specialist, being in the top of his class in metal lathe work. He worked as a Metal Fabricator for a number of years.
Matt loved gardening, plants and flowers, especially growing lilies and pine trees; and enjoyed cars and trucks. He was a very generous person and willing to help others.
Survivors include his aunts and uncles, Carol Wall, Norman Bissett, Thomas Bissett, Ruby Garraway and Lottie Hosfeld.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1985, and his mother, who died Sept. 5, 2014.
Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with the Rev. Timothy Muse officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
