Matthew A. Brown

Matthew A. Brown, age 38, of Alliance passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019, at Aultman Woodlawn Compassionate Care Center.

He was born July 27, 1981, in Alliance, Ohio, to Larry A. Brown and Kathi (Steineck) Utsler.

Matthew Brown lovingly referred to as “Brownie” by many, was a loyal, loving husband, brother, son, uncle and friend to many.

Matt had a lot of passions in life. He had a fulfilling career at MAC Trailer as a Top 3 Tier Welder for nearly 8 years. He took immense pride and care in his work. He was a show director as well as working tirelessly to maintain and execute flawless truck shows for MAC Trailer year after year.

Matt loved the outdoors, fishing, and taking walks with his wife and dog, Bugsy. He just loved to be in nature.

Matts No. 1 attribute was his loyalty; loyalty to his wife, family friends and career. He was a man of his word and his integrity was immeasurable. Matt was an easy going, laid back, kind, generous, helpful man who made friends wherever he went in life. He will be missed by many.

Survivors include his wife, Hope (Webler) Brown whom he married July 26, 2003; mother, Kathi Utsler; father, Larry Brown; stepmother, Beth Brown; stepbrother, Nick Brienza; sister, Tiffany Goddard; niece, Jalyn Goddard; and two nephews, Drew Goddard and Alex Goddard.

Matt was preceded in death by grandparents, Donald and Rose Brown and Harry Steineck.

Per Matthew’s request no services will be held.
