Maurice David Devening

Maurice David Devening, age 70, of Waynesburg, Ohio, passed away at 3:39 p.m., Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Bel-Air Care Center.
He was born July 27, 1946, in New Castle, Indiana, to Maurice and Mary Eleanor (Brown) Devening.
Dave was a United States Army veteran and employed at Mercy Medical Center in the maintenance department.
He loved the Indians, Cavs, Browns and the Buckeyes.
Survivors include his two sons, Kris Devening of Canton and Tim Devening and his wife Ariadna of Costa Rica; granddaughter, Emma Devening; sister, Jane Brumitt of Pendleton, Indiana; and brother, Kenny Devening of Cincinnati.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from Noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
