Michael L. Bondoni

Michael L. Bondoni, age 46, passed away at home on January 3, 2021 after a long fight with colon cancer.

He was born on December 14, 1974 in Salem, Ohio to Robin (Blake) Albrecht and Michael W. Bondoni.

Michael graduated from West Branch High School in 1993 and then attended Kent State University and OSU ATI. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and grounds supervisor, where he utilized his vast knowledge of plants and turf management. Michael was a member of Sebring Friends Church and Masonic Lodge #499, he was also a former member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in North Georgetown. He enjoyed being outdoors, golfing, and watching Ohio State Football, but most of all, spending time with family, friends and his little dog, Gotti.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Diana (Heckman) Bondoni, whom he married on July 27, 2013; parents, Robin (Mel) Albrecht and Michael (Sue) Bondoni; his daughters, Kamryn and Kaitlyn Bondoni; grandmother, Lillian Bondoni; his step-children, Dalton and Lauren Snyder; his sister, Becky (Zeke) Bondoni-Fernandez; his brothers, Steven (Amber) Bondoni and Chadd Bondoni; and step-siblings, Jessica Dowdy, Doug Pryor, Steve Albrecht, David Albrecht and Kristi Rummel.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Louis J. Bondoni; and maternal grandparents, Robert and Wilma Blake.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on January 7th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Quint Bryan and Associate Pastor Lynn Moore co-officiating. Friends may call on January 6th, 2021 from 6-8. Friends and Family with the last names A-M may visit from 6-7 and N-Z from 7-8.

Those attending the service must adhere to the guidelines and mandates set forth by the State of Ohio and wear facial coverings and maintain social distancing when possible.
