Michael R. Vrudney, age 65, of Deerfield, went home to be with the Lord on November 20, 2017 at University Hospital in Cleveland.
He was born September 12, 1952, in Ravenna, Ohio, to Milton and Thelma A. (Martin) Vrudney and was a lifelong resident of Deerfield.
Michael, a graduate of Southeast High School, was employed as a maintenance supervisor at Kent State University for 25 years.
A member of Truth Baptist Church, Michael was a devout Christian who loved reading his Bible and spending time with his church family.
Survivors include his daughter Tracy Young of Deerfield; son, Todd DeWitt of Brazil; brothers, Edward Vrudney of Deerfield and Don Vrudney of Massillon; grandchildren, Cole Lorence and Emma Young; nieces, Tanya Rainey, Ryan Vrudney and Brad Vrudney; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Teague officiating. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Saturday. Interment will be at Edinburg Cemetery.
