Michael E. Jenkins

Michael E. Jenkins, age 69, of Alliance, passed away at his home on April 22nd, 2019.

He was born May 7, 1949 in Alliance to John and Julia (Luca) Jenkins.

Michael graduated from Alliance High School and received an Associate Degree from Stark State College. He operated Alliance Recycling for 30 years and then worked at Polylink in Arizona before retiring in 2012.

Michael was a devoted Christian and a member at Lifeline Pentecostal Church.  He was a railroad enthusiast, enjoyed studying history and was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan.    Michael was always willing to help others and loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.  He will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his mother, Julia Jenkins; daughter, Michelle Jenkins; grandchildren, Jasmine Atherton, Jah-mir Anderson, Mikal Anderson, Alexavier Thomas; great- granddaughter, Radric Atherton; sisters, Sheila (Harry) Bragg of Linden, VA, Julia Chambers of Salem, OH and half-sister, Shelby Craft of Columbus, OH; brother, Tim (Debbie) Jenkins; many nieces and nephews and a special cousin.

He was preceded in death by his father John Jenkins who passed away in 1985; niece, Stacie Jenkins who passed away in 1974; great nephews, Vincent Warner-Bess who passed away in 2014  and Brody Timothy Unkefer who passed away in 2018; and cousin, Karen Jean Faulkner.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday May 4th at Lifeline Pentecostal Church in Alliance with Pastor Chalmer Perkins officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
