Michael Scott Ellis

Michael Scott Ellis, age 48, of Alliance, passed away at 7:45 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019 at Altercare of Alliance.

Mike was born July 11, 1970 in Alliance, Ohio to Gregory Ellis and Jane (Schleuder) Kline.

A graduate of Alliance High School, Mike was a self-employed handyman.

He was of the Christian Faith and member of AA, where he got to know and love his fellow members as his family, and looked forward to their yearly retreat.

Survivors include his mother, Jane (David) Kline of Alliance; brother, Joseph (Megan) McDaniel of New Baltimore; five aunts; four uncles and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Alton Ellis; grandparents, George and Lilian (Dawson) Ellis; grandmother, Beverly (Greenawalt) James; grandfather, Bobby Schleuder; and his beloved dog, Boomer.

The family would like to thank Altercare of Alliance and Alliance Hospice for the caring and compassionate care they gave Mike.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Cassaday-Turkle- Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Freddie Rodriguez officiating.

Friends will be received from 6-7 p.m. Sunday March 17, with a memorial service at 7 p.m.
