Michael W. Ferguson

Michael W. Ferguson, age 74, of Alliance, passed away at 8:38 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at Community Care Center.

He was born April 19, 1945, in East Rochester, Ohio, to Claude E. and Amy L. (Vanallen) Ferguson.

A 1963 graduate of Alliance High School, Mike was employed as a dispatcher at Morgan Engineering and a credit collector at Robertson Heating Supply. He was a member of the First Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene J. (Williamson) Ferguson of Alliance whom he married July 7, 1968; siblings, Ted Ferguson of Louisville, Claude (Jan) Ferguson of Indiana, Kay (Don) Marshall of Sebring, Diane Donohoe and Terry (Donna) Ferguson,  both of Alliance and Jerry (Pat) Ferguson of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by very special friends that are family.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by three brothers, Jim, Roland and Bob Ferguson; and two sisters, Betty Mast and Jackie Trainer.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019 at First Church of God with Pastor Dale Gruver officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God 505 N. Lincoln St. Alliance, OH 44601.
