Michele Held, age 28, of Columbus, Ohio and formerly of Solon, died at 9:30 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2012, at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
She was born October 7, 1984, in Fountain Valley, California, to Richard and Debra (Nally) Moore.
A 2003 graduate of Solon High School, Michele attended Arizona State University.
Michele was a volunteer at the Ohio Historical Society and the Matthew Salem Camp. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, as well as Disney World, cooking, and watching her favorite TV show, Glee. Michele also enjoyed her dog, Jake.
Survivors include her husband Robert W. Held, whom she married September 29, 2012; her parents, Richard and Debra, of Solon; brother, Walter Moore, currently stationed in Germany; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Deborah and David Held of Alliance, brother-in- law, Brent Held of Green, and niece, Penelope Held of Green. She is also survived by her special friends, Jennifer Luu, Amanda Andrews, Deborah Horne, Kari McBride, and Nick Kelly.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Donna Hall.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Sawyer of the Middle Sandy Evangelical Presbyterian Church officiating.
Michele's family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
