Michelle Ann Stewart

Michelle Ann Stewart, age 48, of Alliance, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at Aultman Hospital as a result of complications following surgery.
She was born March 29, 1966 in Alliance to Diane Peterson and Carl Peterson.
A graduate of Alliance High School and Stark State College, Michelle worked as a medical laboratory technician.
She was a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, loved gardening, traveling, the ocean and her animals.
Michelle is survived by her parents; husband Mathew Stewart, whom she married on April 20, 1991; brothers, Michael (Tina) Peterson of Alliance and Jeffrey Peterson of Columbus; maternal grandmother, Thelma Mauk; aunt Cindy Mauk; and nieces and nephews, Kiersten, Morgan, Daniel, Katelyn, Nick and Courtney.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert Mauk; and paternal grandparents, Dorthy Yost and Paul Peterson.
A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. prior to the service.
