Mildred F. Boyce, age 95, of Alliance, died at 1:49 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Canterbury Villa.
She was born May 28, 1917, in Middletown, OH, to Homer and Bessie (Gabbert) Franklin.
Mrs. Boyce was a member of First Christian Church and a former member of the Y-Wives Club. She worked for the Stark County Board of Elections for more than 40 years. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Janice (Glenn) Sponseller and Joan (John) Morettini; son, Richard Franklin Pennybaker, all of Alliance; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John R. Boyce, who passed away in 2004; son, James Pennybaker; sister, Bernice Lillis; and grandson, John Scott Morettini.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2013, at Highland Memorial Park with Pastor Pam Bruno officiating.
