Mildred F. Conaway, age 75, of Deerfield, died at 3:50 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2007 at Aultman Hospital.
She was born September 15, 1932 in Homeworth, Ohio to George and Mabel (Miller) Bandy.
Mrs. Conaway attended the former Homeworth Public Schools. She was formerly employed as a waitress at Mary's Ranch and manager at Barney's Dairy Isle in Atwater and a homemaker.
She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and also enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn (Robert) Stowe of Beloit, son, Thomas David (Diane) Conaway of Deerfield, grandchildren, Tommy Conaway, and Courtney and Katie Stowe; great-grandson, Tommy Conaway; sisters, Norma Jean Coleman of Damascus, Ruby Teagarden of Cleveland, Grace Jackson of Niles and Judy (Charles) Dahmer of Madison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Conaway, whom she married December 17, 1950 and who died February 3, 2006; five brothers, Homer, Warren, George, Duane and Glenn; and six sisters, Marie, Hazel, Faye, Gloria Ann, Ruth and Delpha.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Henkel of the North Benton Presbyterian Church officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
